Description

IBM PC110 Installation service. 

1. You send us your IBM PC110 (working on the dock – but with a defective LCD) – Just the unit is needed. No accessories are needed.
2. We will perform a motherboard check to confirm operation of dock and floppy drive before proceeding further.
3. We will remove any old-bridge batteries present with cleaning as required (unless you ask otherwise).
4. Removal of old DSTN LCD and bezel (and return to you for safe-keeping)
5. Installation of new TFT LCD kit and new bezel (sold separately).
6. Installation of new BIOS via dock / floppy disk.
7. Testing / check performance of LCD
8. Return (Freight included to most countries in the world)

IMPORTANT NOTES:

1. We DO NOT offer refunds of service-centre-based activities where our team perform testing / disassembly and find that the IBM PC110 motherboard has been damaged in such a way as it cannot operate or cannot support the dock / floppy disk installation.  However, we WILL offer a refund of a pre-purchased TFT kit if we cannot proceed past this point due to pre-existing motherboard damage (commonly caused by the leaking bridge batteries).  By ordering this service-center item, you agree to this caveat and understand that a refusal may offend.
2. This service is a TFT installation service charge only (plus freight).  It does not include replacement parts such as the TFT LCD itself (order separately), replacement batteries, replacement floppy drives, docks or replacement motherboards should yours be supplied faulty.
